Half the Sky is an international movement that seeks to empower women around the world to end the oppression of women and girls. The movement is inspired by Journalists Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn’s best-selling book, Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide.
Now Towson University is getting involved and you should too. Learn more at Half the Sky Towson’s first meeting, tonight Wednesday February 20th from 5-6 pm in the Center for Student Diversity’s Unidad Lounge, University Union 313. There will be free pizza at this meeting!
