Towson Kicks-Off Eight Week All-Campus Recycling Competition

From February 3 to April 5, throw all your bottles, paper and cardboard into one of Towson’s RecycleAll bins to help Towson win this year’s Recyclemania competition! Last year Towson placed 164^th out of 275 schools in the Grand Champion category by recycling 24 percent of our waste. University of Maryland College Park placed 88^th with a 35 percent recycling rate. This year the residence hall with the most recycling per student will win a cash prize equivalent to the number of residents in that building. Weekly totals will be posted on Towson’s Go Green website every Friday beginning February 15.
