SOFTWARE TIP OF THE WEEK
VoIP Phones Retrieving Voicemail from the Web
- Open your internet browser and type www.towson.edu/voicemail in the address bar.
- The Cisco Personal Communications Assistant page will appear. Type your Username (NetID) and Password in the upper right hand corner of the webpage (Fig 4, 1).
- Click Login
- Under Welcome to the Cisco Personal Communications Assistant heading, click the Web Inbox link.
- If the Security Warning dialog box appears, click Yes.
- From the Web Inbox, you will see all your messages. You have the following options:
- Play the message – Double click on a message and it will begin to play
- Forward the message
- Choose additional options such as making the message Urgent or requesting a Read Receipt by clicking in the corresponding checkbox.
- Mark Unread – Click once on the message and then click the Mark unread button in the
bottom right corner of the message The message will become bold. - Delete – Click once on the message and then click the Delete button in the bottom right
corner of the message. The message will be deleted.
7. Click the Sign Out button at the top of the page when complete.
