Governor?s Crime Prevention Award

For the 20th consecutive year, through the continuous efforts of our police officers, Towson University Police Department has once again been selected to receive the Governor?s Crime Prevention Award. Towson University Police Department is the first Campus Police Department in the State of Maryland to receive this award 20 consecutive years bringing praise and recognition to Towson University. Towson University Police are among only twelve (12) police agencies recognized in the State of Maryland for significant contributions and accomplishments in the area of community policing and crime prevention.
