On Sunday, October 17, 2004, the Facilities Management Department lost a member of their family. Ken Weber, the Maintenance Chief in Area G, passed away due to an apparent heart attack. He would have turned 32 on November 3rd.
Ken began his employment at Towson University on August 6, 2000. At that time, he was a Maintenance Lead in Area G, which consists of the Administration Building, 7800 York Road, Stephens Hall and Center for the Arts. He later became the Maintenance Chief when his supervisor, Sonny Ferandes, retired. He was a dedicated employee who will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
