The Saturday Morning Science Series hosted by the Hackerman Academy will continue on Saturday January 26 with a visit and presentation by famed physicist Albert Einstein.
Well, almost. Actor and storyteller Marc Spiegel will portray Einstein in this engaging and entertaining program about the life and work of Einstein during which he will teach us his special song of relativity and conduct a few demonstrations to illustrate the principals of relativity. Following the hour long performance, Dr. Vera Smolyaninova, Associate Professor of Physics here at Towson University, will delight the audience with a number of cool physics demonstrations. You never had this much fun learning physics!!
The program will be in Smith Hall room 326 and will run from 10:00 am until about 11:30 am.
This series, which is free and open to the public, is targeted for the general public and students of all ages, and is designed to share the excitement of modern discoveries in mathematics and science.
