Sabbatical Reading by Geoffrey Becker, November 28

Award winning author and Associate Professor of English Geoffrey Becker will read new fiction at 3:30pm, Nov. 28th, in the Towson Room, 5th floor of Cook Library. Becker is the author of Bluestown (St. Martins) and Dangerous Men (U. of Pittsburgh Press). A past winner of the Drue Heinz Literature Prize, the Nelson Algren Award from the Chicago Tribune, the Great Lakes Colleges Award for best first book of fiction, an NEA Fellowship and two Maryland Arts Council grant, Becker’s stories have appeared in many literary magazines and anthologies, including The Best American Short Stories.
