Student Poetry Contest

Student Poetry Contest ? The Asian Arts & Culture Center invites Towson University students to review the exhibition, Abandon and Adhering: International Modern Ink Painting, currently on view at the Asian Arts Gallery through March 17, and submit a poem for a poetry reading on Thursday, March 9, 4 p.m.. $300 in cash prizes ($150, $100 and $50) will be awarded and winners are invited to the Asian Arts & Culture Center Donor Recognition Dinner on March 11.

Each contestant is asked to submit only one poem of 30 lines or fewer for consideration. Only typed, unpublished poems not under consideration elsewhere will be considered. Poems must be submitted by March 3, 2006 in a sealed envelope with contact info to the Asian Arts & Culture Center located in the Center for the Arts, Room 2038. For more info, call 410-704-2807.
