Are you ready for the second round of ‘The Associate’ competition?
Applications Due: December 16, ST 123P
The spotlight will shine on eight graduating seniors in TU?s College of Business and Economics during the second round of ‘The Associate’ competition, planned for Spring 2006.
Last year?s rendition of ‘The Apprentice’ was nothing but a success for all eight student participants, who are now either employed or have been offered respectable positions by various companies in the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan region. In addition to the two finalists ? Amanda Knott and Reanna Tarleton, two further past participants work with last year?s chief executive, Edwin F. Hale, CEO and chairman of the board of 1st Mariner Bank and owner of the Baltimore Blast indoor soccer team, who taught students important business lessons throughout the competition.
“No other business program in the area holds a competition like this one,” Amanda Knott, recent graduate and finalist explains. “The Associate competition is representative of why students come to Towson ? to build relationships, to learn, and to become part of a community that?s devoted to helping you succeed.”
CBE will announce the ?Donald Trump?/executive of the competition as well as the day of the week that boardroom sessions will be held on January 12, 2006.
