The Elementary Education/Special Educaton Department is offering a limited number of scholarships for Praxis I Preparation Strategies classes for students planning to major in EE/SE. The classes are taught by Maryland Writing Project Teacher-Consultants and TU faculty members. Each six-class session provides support in reading, writing, grammar, and math and provide test-taking strategies as well. All classes are held on Thursday evenings from 4:30 – 7 p.m. at Pikesville High School and Saturday mornings from 9 – 11:30 a.m. at Towson University.

Session IV (for the 4/29/06 exam)

Session V (for 6/10/06 exam) Thursday 5/4, 5/11, 5/18, 5/25 AND Saturdays 5/6, 5/20
All pre-education majors are invited to participate in these classes. The scholarships, however, are limited to pre-EE/SE majors.
