All international students and scholars are invited to a tax filing workshop to be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2005 at 3:15 p.m. in Room 120 of the Administration Building. The workshop will be hosted by the Nonresident Alien Tax Office and will cover the following topics:
Tax filing requirements (federal and state)
Tax residency status
IRS publications and forms
Tax terms
Resources
CINTAX software
Remember – the tax filing deadline is April 15, 2005. CINTAX (formerly called NRAware!) tax filing software is available for nonresident aliens for tax purposes to use when filing their 2004 tax returns.
