Join us for a lecture memorializing Dr. Wing-Chun Wong, a beloved teacher, colleague, philosopher of science, and scholar of Immanuel Kant’s philosophy . Dr. Wong died in 2001. The Philosophy and Religious Studies Department is honoring his memory with a lecture series.
Dr. Michael Friedman, an internationally renowned philosopher of science, will give the inaugural lecture in this series honoring Dr. Wong. Dr. Friedman is the Frederick P. Rehmus Professor of Humanities at Stanford University, and author of numerous books and articles, including Kant and the Exact Sciences (Harvard 1992), and Foundations of Space-Time Theories (Princeton, 1983).
