WORDS, SOUNDS, STORIES: The Towson Literary Reading Series hosts Andrew Wingfield

The Towson Literary Reading Series begins this Fall 2011 semester with a Metropolitan Literature Reading featuring short story writer Andrew Wingfield on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. in the Towson Room of the Cook Library. Andrew Wingfield is the author of Right of Way (Washington Writers Publishing House, 2010), a short story collection that depicts a gentrifying neighborhood on the edge of Washington, D.C. and the lives of its residents as they navigate the complexities of diversity and change, and strive to realize a comforting vision of home. Dr. Wingfield is also an Associate Professor in George Mason University?s New Century College and Director of Mason?s BA program in Environmental and Sustainability Studies.
