Brooke Wagner, Library Technician at Albert S. Cook Library since 2001, passed away unexpectedly on July 16, 2011. She was 33 years old. Brooke worked in the library?s acquisitions department and was responsible for ordering materials for the library collection. Through her work, Brooke interacted closely with many Towson faculty and staff. Brooke also received and processed all gift books donated to the library. In addition, she managed Cook Library?s Annual Book Sale and was a creative contributor to the Library?s public relations and marketing committee.
A Celebration of Brooke?s Life will be held at St. John?s Lutheran Church in Phoenix, MD on Saturday July 30th at 11:00 am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Brooke?s name may be made to St. John?s Lutheran Church, 3911 Sweet Air Rd.; Phoenix, MD 21131 or Defenders of Animal Rights, Inc.; 14412 Old York Rd.; Phoenix, MD 21131.
