Based on the recommendations of the CGSR Taskforce, the admissions, registration, and records functions, previously managed by the Graduate School, are being absorbed by University Admissions and the Registrar?s Office. Both graduate and undergraduate admissions will now be handled by the newly merged University Admissions Office, under the direction of Brian Hazlett, Assistant VP and Director of Admissions. Additionally, Kevin Webb (x42811) will now direct university recruitment and Cindy Jusino (x43725) will oversee transfer evaluation services.
The Registrar?s Office will absorb all of the graduate student registrar-related functions including registration, records and graduation under Bob Giordani, Registrar and Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs. Erika Carlson-Hiles (Graduate Student Administrator) and Bethany Taylor (Graduation Office) have joined the Registrar?s staff. Erika can be reached at x42027 and Bethany at x43092.
Please note that these changes do not cover the leadership of graduate programs themselves, the work of the graduate studies committee, or the functions of the Dean of Graduate Studies.
University Admissions is now located in suite 216 of the 7800 York Road Building, where the Graduate School was previously located. Questions related to graduate or undergraduate admissions should be directed to 410-704-2113. Tours of the campus for Undergraduate students will continue to depart from the Enrollment Service Building. The Registrar?s Office is located in the Enrollment Services Building.
