WORDS, SOUNDS, STORIES: The Towson Literary Reading Series hosts Shelley Puhak

The Towson Literary Reading Series will begin this Spring 2011 by hosting Ms. Shelley Puhak on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in the Towson Room of the Cook Library. Shelley Puhak is Writer-in-Residence at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. She earned her MFA from the University of New Orleans and her MA in Literature from the University of Delaware. Her first collection, Stalin in Aruba, won the Towson University Prize for Literature in 2010. Her poems have appeared in Alaska Quarterly Review, Beloit Poetry Journal, New Delta Review, New South, Third Coast, and many other journals. Her essays have appeared in Fourth Genre, The Baltimore Sun and Road & Travel.
