The Towson University, Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies invites your participation at 12th Annual Ian Moore Memorial Lecture to be held on April 1, 2010 in Towson University?s Potomac Lounge located in the University Union. This event will start with coffee at 6:30 pm, with the lecture beginning around 7:00 pm and followed by a reception at 8:30 pm.
The Keynote speaker will be Dr. Alphonso Lingis, who will deliver a lecture entitled: ?Dominion of Shadows?.
Dr. Alphonso Lingis is a Professor Emeritus at Pennsylvania State University and the author of 14 books and published extensively in various academic journals. His most recent books include: Body Transformation (2005); The First Person Singular (2007) and Violence and Splendor (forthcoming).
