The 2010 Multicultural Conference to be held at Towson University on Thursday, February 25, 2010 will highlight a presentation by Professor Evelyn Avery from the Department of History entitled “Diversity is More Than Skin Deep.” Dr. Avery?s talk is scheduled from 10:30 ? 11:45am in the University Union?s Chesapeake Room. The presentation will draw upon Dr Avery?s two years teaching in Uganda and its application to her development as a scholar and professor of ethnic literature.
