The Towson University Police Community Relations (PCR) Meeting for May will be held in conjunction with Towson University?s ?SAFE SUMMER SEND OFF PROGRAM?. The event will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2004, and will take place from 11:00 am. to 3:30 pm. The program will be held at Burdick Field and there will be refreshments and giveaways and prizes.
Towson University Police will have an interactive display featuring ?FATAL VISION? goggles. ?FATAL VISION? goggles simulate being intoxicated. The display will give the participant the opportunity to wear the goggles and attempt to maneuver a tricycle through pre-determined course.
The ?FATAL VISION? goggles display will be available to students and faculty/staff members attending the event.
University Police will be available at the event to answer any questions or concerns regarding seat belt use and child safety seats.
