The College of Liberal Arts Foreign Film Series continues Thursday, April 9, 2009 in Lecture Hall 238 beginning at 7:00 pm with the film “The Kite Runner” starring Khalid Abdalla, and Atossa Leoni and Directed by Marc Forster.
After spending years in California, Amir returns to his homeland in Afghanistan to help his old friend Hassan, whose son is in trouble in this epic tale of fathers and sons. This powerful tale of friendship and betrayal takes us from the final days of Afghanistan’s monarchy to the atrocities of the Taliban reign. In Dari and English with English subtitles.
