Did you know that 1,100 college students die every year by suicide? Want to know what 1,100 actually looks like? Come see Active Minds display of 1,100 backpacks to represent the amount of college students who die every year by suicide. Resources will be provided! Please come to our display on the way to class and stop at our table on the beach to write a story of someone you know who was lost to suicide to attach to one of our bags. This event will take place all day on Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Wednesday, April 28th at 6:00 p.m. we will be showing the documentary “The Bridge” which follows cases of suicide off of the Golden Gate Bridge. This event will be in the Union room 306. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
