With the start of the school year around the corner, New Student Programs (NSP) invites you to participate in our annual “Spirit Statue” project. If your department chooses to participate, NSP will provide you with an initial set of building materials that you can use to construct a statue that welcomes our new students to campus. Feel free to add as many other materials that you would like to create your sculpture, and we encourage you to be as creative and school spirited as possible. Please be sure to incorporate some of the following words/phrases: “Welcome”, “New Students”, “Towson”, and/or “Tigers”, as well as the name of your department.
Please RSVP to Kathy at kmosier@towson.edu by THIS FRIDAY, August 17th if your department would like to participate. Building materials will then be available to be picked up from NSP (Union 217) on Monday, August 20th.
Once your sculpture has been created, you will need to deliver it to NSP no later than Friday, August 24th at 4:00 p.m. It will be displayed through out the Welcome to Towson program, and prominently at the New Student Check-In and Packet Pick-Up, as well as on the 3rd Annual Walk to the Towson Center that precedes Convocation.
