Want to host an event? Need space and some extra funding? Sounds like you need Friday Night Live and Saturday Scene!
Friday Night Live and the Saturday Scene are part of the You In? Weekend programming initiative sponsored by Campus Life and the Office of Student Activities. Campus Life will reimburse your organization or department up to $750 for hosting an event in the 8pm-11pm time slot (exact times can be discussed at a later date) on Friday nights and $500 for hosting an event on Saturday nights from 8-11 p.m. This is a great opportunity for your organization/department to get your name out there and put on a great event for the campus community.
The application process is a little different this year. Since we have so many interested groups, we have developed guidelines and an application process, which is posted on {http:// www.towson.edu/weekends}. If you are interested in a Friday Night Live or Saturday Scene event, then your organization will need to turn in an application to the Office of Student Activities in UU 217 or email a copy to Bedig Galladian at {bgalla5@students.towson.edu} as soon as possible.
Though we will consider applications turned in based on the date they were turned in, we will not be doing a ?first come, first served? basis. We are looking for a diverse array of student organizations and types of programs in order to put on the best collection of weekend programming for the Towson University campus. After we have approved the applicants, we will then email you confirming the date of your event, and send you specific instructions on what needs to be done afterwards.
