TU LeaderShape 2011!
The Division of Student Affairs is currently accepting applications for outstanding students to participate in TU LeaderShape 2011. We are looking for primarily 1st year and 2nd year students to participate in this experience. The dates for this year are January 23?28, 2011. The students selected do not pay any fees to participate. Review of applications will begin on October 20, 2010. It is encouraged to have your application completed and submitted by then.
The LeaderShape experience is a highly interactive, energizing, six-day leadership development experience designed to help participants learn to lead with integrity. LeaderShape is comprised of approximately 60 students. Most of the interactive program is conducted in a large group called the Learning Community, with further discussion and team building occurring in family clusters (groups of about 10-12 students). In family clusters, students are supported and challenged to develop new skills and attitudes in a safe environment.
If you have any students that might benefit from this experience, you can either nominate them or direct them to the application. The instructions for both are listed below.
