OTS will be upgrading the software on the campus network on Sunday, August 12 from 6 a.m. – noon. During this time, your telephone and network connection will be intermittently unavailable during the short 10 – 20 minute outages while the network hardware that serves your area is reset.
In addition, OTS will be performing routine maintenance upgrades, hardware moves and patching to campus systems. All OTS hosted servers will be offline for this upgrade. This includes, but is not limited to: Outlook/Email, personal and departmental network storage, Peoplesoft, Blackboard, Inside and associated applications, the Towson website and others.
When maintenance is complete, a post will be made to the OTS alerts website {http://alerts.towson.edu.} (Keep in mind that due to the nature of the maintenance, the website will not be available during that time.)
As a reminder, the Office of Technology Services? maintenance window is every Sunday from 6 a.m. ? noon. Faculty and users are advised to keep this maintenance window in mind when planning events, assignments and deadlines.
