Holocaust Survivor and the American Soldier who Liberated Her

Tigers for Israel, College Republicans and Maryland Student Legislature presents “My Incredible Journey to Freedom.” On Thursday, March 17th at 7 p.m., Holocaust Survivor Deli Strummer will recall her youth in pre-WWII Vienna, Austria and how under the Nazi regime, her life and that of her family, changed forever. This special presentation follows Mrs. Strummer through her deportation to concentration camps and ultimately her liberation sixty years ago. Her journey finds her making a new life in America.

Former Captain William Robinson, of the 11th Armored Division under General Patton, will describe how his unit liberated the prisoners, including Mrs. Strummer. You will not want to miss this special evening.
