On Tuesday, October 5, 2004 Towson University will host renowned author Octavia Butler in the 6th Annual Book of the Year Celebration. While on campus, Ms. Butler will be involved in two programs. At 3:00 p.m. in the Potomac Lounge of the Union, our own Dr. Lena Amapadu will facilitate a discussion with Ms. Butler regarding the “Writer’s Art.” At 7:00 p.m., Ms. Bulter will do a formal book reading in the Stephens Auditorium.
Remember that faculty members who incorporate Kindred or the lecture into their class will receive a free t-shirt.
