The Towson Literary Reading Series will host novelist, Dan Fesperman on Tuesday October 19th at 3:30 p.m. in the Towson Room of Cook Library. Come out to hear him read from his newest novel, Layover in Dubai, and talk about his travels throughout war zones across the globe. A Q&A and book signing will follow the reading. One student will win a free book!
Dan Fesperman?s travels as a writer have taken him to more than thirty countries and three war zones, and his 1994 trip to the besieged city of Sarajevo inspired his first novel, Lie in the Dark. Two of his books have won Dagger Awards in Great Britain, and a third won the Dashiell Hammet Award for best novel from the International Crime Writers Association. His seventh novel, Layover in Dubai, was published in July. Mr. Fesperman is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, and a former foreign correspondent for the Baltimore Sun.
