Come Join the Redoubtable Dons at their next meeting with a discussion led by graduate student, Jonathan Moore, from the Department of English-Humanities at Towson University. Mr. Moore will discuss, “A Plague of Life: Beckett’s Pessimism in Three Novels”.
Join us on Friday, December 14, 2012 at the University Club in the Towson University’s Marriott Conference Hotel. After a social gathering beginning at 3:30 p.m. Mr. Moore’s talk will follow around 4 p.m.
Set for an interdisciplinary audience, the talks aim to be learned but not arcane, brisk yet not rushed, and clear without being over simple. Their intention is that noble classical goal, to instruct and entertain.
All faculty, alumni and graduate students are welcome.
