Come Join the Redoubtable Dons at their next meeting with a discussion led by Professor John McLucas, from the Department of Foreign Languages at Towson University. Dr. McLucas will discuss, ?After the Fall: Rome?s Survival and Rebirth from Barbarians to Barberini?.
Join us on Friday, October 26, 2012 at the University Club in the Towson University?s Marriott Conference Hotel. After a social gathering beginning at 3:30pm, Dr. McLucas? talk will follow around 4:00pm.
Set for an interdisciplinary audience, the talks aim to be learned but not arcane, brisk yet not rushed, and clear without being over simple. Their intention is that noble classical goal, to instruct and entertain.
