On Monday, August 27th Cook OneSearch will be added to the Cook Library website.
This tool simplifies searching by allowing the TU Community to search multiple library resources at once, including the catalog as well as many subscription databases and journals. In addition, related web results from Cook Library?s Approved Website Search Engine will appear on the right hand side of the results page.
Cook OneSearch is useful across a variety of research levels. Because it includes resources across the Library’s collections, it is especially helpful for interdisciplinary research and getting started in a new research area. However, it does not include everything. For certain subject areas and topics, you may be better served by using subject-specific databases. Your library liaison ({http://cooklibrary.towson.edu/liaisons.cfm}) can help identify the best search tools for your needs.
