Take art-making to the next level! Turn illustrations, cartoons and character designs into moving images on the computer. This one-week workshop introduces students to the creative world of 2-D and 3-D animation used for Anime, cartoons and videogames. Students will create several animation sequences based on their own original designs. This is an exciting introduction into art-making skills of the 21st century using state-of-the-art technology: widescreen iMacs, scanners and digitizing tablets for drawing with a stylus. This workshop is designed for participants f all levels; students are encourage to have some experience with cartooning or drawing, and computer use. For ages 14 – 18. July 30 ? August 3.
