After completing a perfect Colonial Athletic Association schedule, the Towson University volleyball team will host the CAA Championship Tournament, November 16-18.
For the first time since the 2004 season, the tournament will be played in the Towson Center Arena. The action kicks off on Friday, Nov. 16 with a pair of quarterfinal matches. In the first match at 4 p.m., No. 3 Northeastern takes on No. 6 James Madison. At 7 p.m. that day, No. 4 Hofstra faces No. 5 William & Mary.
In Saturday’s 4 p.m. semifinal, No. 2 Delaware will battle the winner of the Northeastern/James Madison contest. The host Tigers take on the winner of Hofstra/William & Mary on Saturday at 7 p.m.
The championship game will take place on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 5 p.m.
There will be parking available in Lot 21 during the tournament. Fans attending Saturday’s matches should be aware that there will be events going on in Johnny Unitas Stadium. Lot 21 will open at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday for volleyball parking and fans should enter the athletic complex through Auburn South.
Ticket prices for individuals and adults are $10 for Friday and Saturday and $7 for Sunday. Youth under the age of 17 can purchase a ticket for $7 on Friday and Saturday and $5 on Sunday. Fan can purchase an all-tournament pass for $20 for adults and $14 for youth and that pass is good for all sessions. Students with a valid ID from a CAA institution will be admitted free.
