Towson Volleyball Hosts Pink Match this Friday

This Friday at 7 p.m. in the Towson Center Arena, the Towson Women’s Volleyball team will be holding its 2012 Pink PAWS Match against Georgia State. The event is part of the department-wide Pink P.A.W.S. (Proud Athletes Who Serve) initiative, which aims to help raise money and awareness for breast cancer. The Pink PAWS initiative is based around Tiger athletics teams helping to raise money and awareness for cancer research. In support of the initiative, Towson teams will wear pink attire to show their support at their selected events. In addition to wearing Black & Gold attire, fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game to show support for breast cancer awareness. Members of Zeta Tau Alpha and P.A.W.S. will be in attendance to collect donations to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. There is no charge for admission and free parking is available in Lot 21, located in front of the Towson Center.
