The January 15 Colonial Athletic Association men?s basketball game between visiting Delaware and the host Tigers in the Towson Center will tip off at 12 noon due to the widespread interest in the Ravens/Steelers NFL game scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
?Baltimore is a great sports town and this coming Saturday is going to be an outstanding day to celebrate for everyone with the Towson basketball game vs. Delaware and the Ravens in the NFL Playoffs,? said Towson University Director of Athletics Mike Waddell. ?We worked with the CAA and Delaware to move Saturday?s home men?s basketball game from 4 p.m. to Noon to allow the fans to take part in both. We appreciate Delaware and the league for working with us.?
Fans wearing Ravens? apparel will be admitted to the basketball game free of charge. All fans will have an opportunity to be selected at random to take part in a special football contest on the court during Saturday?s game. The winner will receive a Towson Prize Pack consisting of a t-shirt, hat, mug, car flag and Under Armour sweatshirt.
With the CAA season well underway, the Tigers are in action this Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. when they host Hofstra.
