The Tigers only home track and field meet of the year is scheduled for this Saturday in Johnny Unitas Stadium when they host nine other schools for the annual Towson Invitational that gets underway at 10:30 am.
Joining the Tigers will be Johns Hopkins, Loyola, Coppin State, Delaware, Rowan, Mary Washington, Essex County (NJ) College, York College and St. Thomas Aquinas.
Towson is coming off one of its most successful outdoor meets in program history. The Tigers held off Virginia 124-117 to capture the team title at the George Mason Spring Opener last Saturday. Air Force (101), Richmond (74), host George Mason (64), Fordham (50) and Georgetown (10) followed in the team standings.
