TOWSON, Md. ? Sophomore swimmer Meredith Budner of the Colonial Athletic Association champion women?s swimming and diving team and senior infielder Gary Helmick of the baseball team were named as Towson University?s Female and Male Athlete of the Year award winners, it was announced at the annual Athletic Awards Banquet in the Towson Center on Monday night.
In addition, senior Britt Woodfield of the Tiger women?s lacrosse team was honored as the winner of the Tiger Athletic Fund Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award.
