CHANDLER, Ariz. ? Led by four-year award winner Danielle Wacker, the Tigers had 15 players named to the NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad, it has been announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.
The NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad honors collegiate field hockey players who earned a 3.30 grade point average or higher during the fall 2008 semester. The 15 players recognized this year are the most in program history for the Tigers. In the last seven years, the Tigers have had 11 or more players named to the squad four times.
