After winning their last two games of the regular season to earn a berth in the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament, Coach Mike Gottlieb and the Towson University baseball team will face top-seeded North Carolina Wilmington in the first round of the CAA Tournament on Wednesday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m. at Brooks Field.
Seeded sixth in the CAA Tournament, the Tigers have a 28-26 overall record and a 14-16 record in the CAA. Ranked 26th in the nation, UNC Wilmington has a 41-13-1 overall record and posted a 25-4-1 record in the CAA. In March, the Seahawks swept a three-game series from Towson.
Tournament passes are $30 for adults and $12 for youths (6-12) while single-day passes are $10 for adults and $5 for youth. Students from participating institutions will be admitted at no charge with a valid student ID card. Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling 1-800-808-UNCW.
