Join the Tigers as they host Georgia State in a crucial CAA series with serious post-season implications. Both the Tigers and the Panthers enter the weekend series hoping to clinch a berth in the CAA Tournament next week at UNC Wilmington. Towson, now sixth in the CAA, enters the weekend with a 12-15 CAA record, one-half game ahead of Georgia State and Northeastern. While the Tigers and the Panthers are facing off here in Towson, Northeastern is hosting James Madison in Boston.
Towson and Georgia State will play single games on Friday (3:00) and Saturday afternoons (1:00). Saturday’s game will be Senior Day as seniors Corey Cascio, Brian Conley, Jon Dupski, Greg Furmanek and Terry Gallo make their final home appearance. All five seniors will be honored in pre-game ceremonies.
The Tigers, who are coming off a CAA series win at Delaware last weekend, have been an outstanding team at Schuerholz Park this season. Towson is 17-6 at home this year.
