Although ?Black & Gold Week ?08? has come to an end, Tiger Athletic action never stops. This upcoming Saturday, February 23rd, you won?t want to miss your Men?s Lacrosse team face-off their 2008 season, men?s basketball tip-off the 2008 ESPN BrackBuster, or your women?s lacrosse team taking their opening draw for their 2008 season.
All of the Tiger action will begin at 1 p.m. in Unitas Stadium when the Towson Tigers Men?s Lacrosse team hosts their Charles Street rival, the Greyhounds of Loyola. The parking lots around the stadium will open three hours prior to face-off for tailgating.
Immediately following the lacrosse game, you can make your way across Auburn Drive to the Towson Center where your Men?s Basketball team will face the Panthers of High Point in the first ever meeting between the two schools in this year’s ESPN BracketBuster game. Tip-off is slated for 4 p.m. Don?t miss performances by the TU Pom Squad and BSU Step Team.
If basketball is not your thing and you?re looking for double-header in lacrosse, Unitas Stadium is the place to be on Saturday. Taking the field immediately following the men?s team will be the 2008 Towson Tigers Women?s Lacrosse team for their season opener against Mount St. Mary?s at 4 p.m.
