The University has formalized the expectations of fan conduct during home athletics events with the following written code. While this code of conduct has existed for some time, the university felt it was appropriate to make it more formal and to provide written notification of our expectations.
Fan Code of Conduct
Towson University promotes good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist comments or other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches or team representatives will not be tolerated and will be grounds for removal from the site of competition. In addition, threatening physical actions, throwing objects of any type and disorderly or disruptive conduct will result in immediate removal and denial of access to future events. Towson games should be fun and safe for all.
