MEN’S BASKETBALL: Towson Center to be Painted Yellow!

Saturday is the biggest day of the year at the Towson Center when the Tigers welcome long-time rival Drexel in men?s basketball at high noon. It?s the fourth annual Student Fan Appreciation Day and the ?Yellow Effect? will paint the arena a sea of gold.

Included in the student promotions will be the third annual ?Battle of the Greeks? competition between sororities and fraternities and the dormitory attendance challenge dubbed the ?Battle of the Buildings.? Athletics will be handing out serious prizes to students including an XBox 360 with the new Madden, a GPS navigational system for your ride, a home theater system and gift cards to just about every restaurant in Towson. One lucky person will shoot for a chance to win a fully-loaded new Chevy Cobalt! Don?t miss this game.

Also, if you don?t already have a ?Yellow Effect? shirt, wear a gold shirt to the game or plan to purchase a ?Yellow Effect? shirt at the game. The ?Yellow Effect? supports cancer research through the Jimmy V Foundation. It?s a great cause, and the shirts are only $10!
