Ranked 15th in the nation, the Tigers have all but secured a spot in the NCAA Men’s Soccer tournament. On Monday, head coach Frank Olszewski and the team will head to Bateman’s to view the announcement of the NCAA Tournament field that will air from 4:00 to 5:00 pm on ESPNews. Friends, family and alumni are encouraged to join the team at Bateman’s.
The Tigers ended the regular season 14-1-2 overall, took a ten-game winning streak and a 12-game unbeaten string into the CAA Tournament. The Tigers finished their CAA schedule with a 10-0-1 record, setting a CAA record for conference wins in a season.
In his 25th season as the Tigers’ coach, Frank Olszewski is trying to lead Towson to its first NCAA Tournament since 2001, when they lost to eventual champions North Carolina in the second round.
