MEN’S BASKETBALL: Tigers Host Northeastern in Final Home Game Saturday at 4:00

Be part of Towson Basketball?s Annual Student Appreciation Game on Saturday, February 25 at 4:00 pm when the Tigers take on Northeastern at the Towson Center in their final regular season home game. It will be a day filled with prizes, activities and a bit of history as we give a special thank you for all students who have shown their Tiger Pride all season long.

With your help, we also plan to make history by setting a new Towson Center student attendance record. The previous mark was set earlier this year when more than 800 students filled the student section as Pat?s Cats hosted Loyola.

All students in attendance will have the opportunity to win free raffle prizes throughout the basketball game. Prizes include a big screen TV, iPod Nano, portable DVD player, PSP, and XM Satellite Radio with a free year’s subscription.

Other giveaways include apparel and gift certificates to local restaurants and other businesses including: Applebee’s, Bahama Breeze, Bill Bateman’s, Chipotle, Glory Days Bar and Grill, The Green Turtle, Hooters, Jerry’s Subs, One Card Accounts, Pasta Mista Pizza, Souris Saloon, The Towson Book Exchange, the University Store and More!

To win any of our great prizes, students just need to fill out a raffle entry form upon entering the arena. In addition, the Tigers will be hosting the Annual Battle of the Greeks as fraternities and sororities will once again be competing for the $500 prize along with a trophy and ultimate Greek bragging rights.

To be counted all fraternity and sorority members must sign-in upon entering the arena. A special seating section in the balcony overlooking the court is reserved for all the Greeks so be sure to wear your letters and colors as you cheer on the Tigers.

It would not be a night full of Towson tradition if the 12th Annual Mascot Madness did not make its way to the Towson Center. More than 10 mascots from local area organizations, including the Tigers? own ?Doc? will be attending the game and participating in a wacky halftime basketball game. Be sure to bring your camera so you can take a picture with your favorite mascots!

Make your plans now for what has the makings of a very special day as we conclude a very special year.
