Creativity Abounds! Towson to Host Maryland Festival of Creativity

The Division of Economic and Community Outreach (DECO) is pleased to announce that on April 9, 2005, over 1400 students from all across Maryland will converge on Towson University to participate in the Maryland Festival of Creativity. This Festival is the state final competition for the Destination Imagination? creative solving program and is presented by Maryland Creative Problem Solvers, Inc., Maryland?s Destination Imagination? affiliate.

All challenge solutions will be open to the public and will run from approximately 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. A detailed competition schedule will be posted at {www.imaginthis.org}. Most presentations will take place in the University Union, with others to be located in Burdick Hall, Linthicum Hall and the Psychology Building. All 200 teams, team managers, team families and supporters will gather at lot 9 between Burdick Hall and the University Union at 6:00 p.m. for a parade of teams, followed at 6:30 by an awards ceremony.
