2007 Science and Technology Day: Biosciences at a Glance

You are invited to join leading bioscience professionals, researchers, and academic program directors and representatives at the 2007 Science and Technology Day: BioSciences at a Glance held November 14th at Towson University in the Chesapeake Rooms! Experience the benefits of panels, workshops, research poster presentations, and networking opportunities in this friendly and professional atmosphere!

Please join us for this opportunity to learn about the importance and impact of Biosciences! Special guests, Dr. Nancy Grasmick, Maryland State Superintendent for Schools, Dr. Diane Jones, Assistant Secretary for Postsecondary Education of the U.S. Department of Education, Dr. Mary Stapleton, Director of Education and Training Programs at MdBio and Dr. Eric Eisenstadt, Vice President of Research at J. Craig Venter Institute will discuss educational efforts and available government funding. Learn about College Bioscience Programs and Graduate School programs in the Baltimore region ? home to numerous commercial research and developmental activities, academic excellence, and a broad range of research labs.

Representatives and students from universities, high schools, and companies are invited to attend. Our goal is to promote cooperation between institutions, attract students into the Bioscience fields, and encourage current Bioscience students to build their network for potential internships and jobs.
