The Videoactive Film Festival!

Doors open for the screening at 7 PM

This event features short films that utilize video for advocacy, activism and as a tool for social change. Film topics will focus on provocative contemporary issues, including climate change, police-community relations in Baltimore, life after incarceration, school violence and more. The festival screening features innovative and meaningful work done by area students, including TU film students, area high school students from the Kids On the Hill after school program, Digital Harbor High and Wide Angle Youth Media, and other community groups.

6:30 – 7:30 PM: Students, community organizations and community members meet and greet. Light refreshments. Grand Hall, Center for the Arts
7:30 – 8:30 PM: Videoactive Film Screening, Center for the Arts Main Stage Theatre
8:30 – 9:30 PM: Open forum discussion, Center for the Arts Main Stage Theatre
