Software Tip of the Week
Microsoft Excel and Access: Duplicating Cell Contents
When you are working in an Excel spreadsheet or an Access table, you may want to copy the contents of the cell immediately above your selected cell. This is especially true in Access which does not have the ?autofill? option to automatically copy cell contents from row to row.
To copy cell contents from the cell directly above the active cell:
1. Click in the cell immediately below the cell you want to copy
2. Press Ctrl + ? (single quote)
For more mouse-less tips, search in Help for term ?keyboard shortcuts.?
