Blackboard will be unavailable from midnight August 10 until noon August 15 for the upgrade to version 8.0. This upgrade will bring back some old favorites like the ability to mark discussion posts as read and unread, a new grade center and a self/peer assessment. Faculty are advised to inform their students of the upcoming downtime so that they can plan accordingly.
